Kate Mason is a Grant Writing & Research Intern at GreenUnity Ukraine, supporting the full cycle of grant development — from prospect research and pipeline building to drafting letters of inquiry, concept notes, and proposal components. She helps align funder priorities with the organization’s mission in environmental protection and radiological safety.
At GreenUnity Ukraine, Kate contributes to developing clear, outcomes-driven narratives and assembling supporting materials such as budgets, timelines, partner profiles, and impact metrics. She works closely with program leads to translate technical ideas into persuasive, plain-language proposals for philanthropic and institutional funders.
Kate maintains research trackers, analyzes eligibility criteria, and prepares concise briefs on prospective funders using tools like Candid/FDO and public grant databases. Her structured approach helps the team prioritize high-fit opportunities and meet deadlines with consistent, high-quality submissions.
With a background in writing and communications, Kate focuses on clarity, consistency, and evidence-based storytelling. She collaborates with the team to gather data points, case studies, and testimonials that demonstrate need, feasibility, and measurable impact across GreenUnity Ukraine’s programs.
