Lydia Steyaert is a Grant Writing & Research Intern with GreenUnity Ukraine. She recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and sociology and is passionate about using her academic background and experience to contribute to a more equitable future for all.
At GreenUnity Ukraine, Lydia supports the development of grant proposals, conducts funder and program research, and assists in building a structured pipeline of opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission in environmental protection and radiological safety.
She brings a community-centered perspective to her work, focusing on inclusive narratives, social impact, and the importance of building strong partnerships. Lydia is committed to helping strengthen community ties and supporting initiatives that promote justice, sustainability, and long-term resilience.
