Mia Rubiera

Mia Rubiera is an undergraduate student at Denison University pursuing a double major in Political Science and Anthropology. Her academic interests focus on how political systems, cultural dynamics, and community structures shape society, with a special interest in justice, human rights, and global development.

In 2023, Mia discovered a strong passion for nonprofit and mission-driven work. Through hands-on experience in community engagement, outreach, and marketing, she developed a deep commitment to supporting organizations that work to improve lives through education, advocacy, and sustainable development. These early experiences shaped her interest in international cooperation and grassroots initiatives.

Today, Mia serves as a Grant Intern at GreenUnity Ukraine. She contributes to grant research, proposal drafting, donor analysis, and strategic outreach. Her interdisciplinary academic background and strong analytical skills enable her to help communicate the impact of GreenUnity Ukraine’s environmental and humanitarian projects to partners and funders.

Mia brings curiosity, dedication, and a strong ethic of public service to her role. Her work supports GreenUnity Ukraine’s mission to promote environmental protection, strengthen radiation safety, and contribute to international collaboration for a safer, more resilient future.
